the night winds chant their refrain
heard be the crickets song
the rains drum a choral interlude
crimson leaves take to the wind's call
a crescendo this night, 'tis Fall 'tis Fall.

I Drum

I drum.
It is my heartbeat in celebration.
I chant.
It is my spirit in glory.
I am.
It is my soul in gratitude.

Drums sounding the pulse of the earth
Wild and passion filled waves of motion
Brush strokes holding to the moment
Color deep, vibrant, flaring free
A cadence divine
Held I willingly in its seize
Color and capture orchestrated
