what illusions will seem real

what deceptions will be masked

what TRUTHS will be honored

am I backstage acting out a role

what lines do I repeat

what drama do I make real

what of life do I behold

what scene includes me

what scene bears me no place

what re-write is there to consider

or is all foretold

a calling heard

open the curtain

here to stand

Her voice 

hear we a lilting grace

Within our hearts

As too, a rose  

beyond conceal

Passion and beauty

she does reveal

As too, an orchid

so delicate, so grand

Divinity and desire

ennoble her command

As too, a daisy

be it frivolity and play

Petals of joyful favor

glory to mark the Way

As too, a lily

resounding be its soulful call

Fragrant be its perfume

Within the blessing, the All

A garden of song

blooms ever unfold

behind the dark blue curtain he did stand
waiting for his cue, his action command
his dream to be in the stage limelight
this his chance this very night
moments tense and then a pause
his dream now real, applause, applause.
