The Key to Above and Below

"List ye, now to my voice and become

greater than common man.

Lift thine eyes upward,

let Light fill thy being,

be thou ever Children of Light.

Only by effort shall ye grow upward to

the plane where Light is the All of the All.

Be ye the master of all that surrounds thee.

Never be mastered by the effects of thy life.

Create then ever more perfect causes

and in time shalt thou be a Sun of the Light

Free, let thine soul soar ever upward,

free from the bondage and fetters of night.

Lift thine eyes to the Sun in the sky-space.

For thee, let it be a symbol of life.

Know that thou art the Greater Light,

perfect in thine own sphere,

when thou art free.

Look not ever into the blackness.

Lift up thine eyes to the space above.

Free let thine Light flame upward

and shalt thou be a Child of the Light."

... yes, and I invite all to take counsel...

Light Be Known

from shadows light be known

a rising day this moment shown

the quest of light ever present be

in this firmament, this celestial sea

hues and tones of moving grace

within a timeless moment I embrace

eternal majesty be the sky above

blessed I am with this the Creator's love

within this beauty a moment sublime

within this moment light's quest divine.

THE CALL

 

each tear the call to PRESENCE divine

the flowing, the release of heart to mind

a calling libation upon my face in tears there be

and I in tidal waves ONE with the sea

turbulent and calm as too, the tide

from moods and tempers I not hide

heed well I the beckoning of soul

the held vision, the quest, the goal

the tears, the grace, of waters within

wash away the dissonance, the din

heed I this heart to be heard

its chambers echo, echo, God's WORD.

Sounding be the wisdom beckoning to my soul
A knowing from SPIRIT be the blessings told
THOTH in consciousness ever so wise
Ascension to TRUTH, banished be lies
Fear no longer to have its hold
FAITH be VALOR, TRUTH noble and bold
Purpose and intention in vision and deed
The GOOD of humanity be the resounding creed
The Emerald Tablets of THOTH, counsel of ancient be known
TRUTH and FORBEARANCE the NOW in WISDOM shown.

I look to the NORTH

to moons past

to moons present 

the waxing and waning of light

A journey 

An encampment. 

The summer of the year 1988

The experience of One 

with each of the Four Directions 

The preparation 

the moon ceremony

the fire, 

the crystal

the call 

and Warrior Woman proclaimed

The wings of spirit soar 

in revelation and illumination 

The embrace of the NORTH

 the endowment of valor

determination

relentless strength 

vision, 

wisdom as true power  

Keepers 

those who hold the keys to SELF

they be known 

Hear the NORTH 

Nurturance  

Omnipresence 

Revelation 

Truth

Harmony

Hear I the masters

heed I the messengers. 

Wisdom of All

Oh how the mind conceives the thought

With restlessness your heart is wrought

For there is a just and kingly goal

Distant yet touching your crying soul

Be burdened not by task and deed

Lest you be lost to the greater creed

Inspired by self and the knowing within

Shall you pass the haunt, the doom of the din

Listen dear child to thy self sovereign and wise

Heed not to temptation, deception and lies

For it is the tear of joy that you shall weep

When the Promise you vow, you do keep

And when you reach and court the dream

With God's love stand thou supreme

Deception takes not your abiding soul

You have reached a kingly goal

As many may doubt and may berate

You shall prevail for love is thy fate

Guide the children, know their call

With God's tender love and wisdom of all.

2014 ... 26 years past...

THOTH fills the silence with splendor,

To wisdom divine I willingly surrender.

Seekers shall be answered

Voices of revelation shall be heard

A spirited community gathered at the Union Arts Center, Sparkill, New York and gave meaning to Spirit Dance. This offering was conceived byAli Cayenne, a most loving visionary and dancer. She invites all to experience the joy of self in movement, in expression, in liberation. I had the honor of participating in the Closing Ceremony of the Four Directions, symbolic of the embrace of Mother Earth, and so here shared.
