THE CALL

 

each tear the call to PRESENCE divine

the flowing, the release of heart to mind

a calling libation upon my face in tears there be

and I in tidal waves ONE with the sea

turbulent and calm as too, the tide

from moods and tempers I not hide

heed well I the beckoning of soul

the held vision, the quest, the goal

the tears, the grace, of waters within

wash away the dissonance, the din

heed I this heart to be heard

its chambers echo, echo, God's WORD.

This September Morn

Dedicated to my Aunt Ann and Uncle Frank


Two loving souls embraced by the heaven's above
ever present be their eternal season of love

Reached they the summit of God's grace
and within each of our heart's chambers their love be placed

Know they the glory within the gates of heaven their music heard
the destiny, the love, the faith, the divinity in God's Word.

What Be

What be this need to see beyond despair
Is this the heart that holds to love and God's care
What be this knowing that sees beyond illusion's veil
Is this the faith that rises above all travail
What be this joy and soaring quest
Is this the blessing of Creation's behest
This moment, this hour, this day be it now TRUTH proclaimed
By the loving grace of BEING, by GOD'S WORD named.
