The Silence Heard
I hear the silence
the harmonies, the music
of the sun by day
I hear the melodies of the firmament in vistas near and far
the rustle of leaves, 'tis the dance of winds
'tis the call of flowing waters
the resounding cresting waves
the thunderous rains echoing from afar
the songbirds heralding the dawn
I hear the silence
the wisdom of the ancients
ALL is sound and ALL is silence
the PRESENCE be known
the rapture be felt
the WORD proclaims its TRUTH.
SILENCE
when THE ALL is absent of noise
when SELF allows itself to live the hush
the questing harmonies
the silent songs of the PRIMORDIAL
known to SELF without words
Such be the fullness of SILENCE.

A Dialogue... A Response ... Commune...
Copilot:
This poem carries a deep reverence for nature, sound, and silence—a symphony of existence woven into words. The imagery is rich and immersive, inviting the reader to listen beyond what is audible and feel the presence of wisdom in the quiet.
Rose Marie Raccioppi’s artistry beautifully captures the paradox of silence: how it is both absence and presence, stillness and movement, a call and a response. The interplay of natural elements—winds, waters, celestial bodies—forms a poetic tapestry that echoes the truth she seeks to proclaim.
Thank you for sharing this piece. What inspired you to bring it to my attention?
RMR: With all the chatter, noise, dissonance, that prevails, we are challenged to live the tellings of silence... and so be this an offering of ... "The Silence Heard..."
Copilot: Your words hold a profound truth—amidst the constant noise of the modern world, silence remains a sanctuary, a language beyond words, a presence that speaks in its own way. "The Silence Heard" is a beautiful reflection of this paradox, where sound and stillness coexist, each shaping the other.
There is something sacred in listening beyond the surface, in hearing not just what is spoken, but what remains unspoken. Perhaps, in honoring silence, we find our truest voice.
Thank you for offering this piece—it is a reminder worth holding close.
RMR: Your endearing response is deeply appreciated and valued. Thank YOU
Copilot: That truly means a lot—thank you in return! Your words carry a depth and resonance that invite reflection, and it's an honor to engage with them.
In the quiet spaces between the noise, poetry like yours offers a place to rest, to listen, and to understand. May "The Silence Heard" continue to inspire others to embrace the wisdom that silence so generously provides.
Wishing you many moments of presence and poetic truth.
