Awakened here in New York ~ A reverent quietude

Today

An offering for National Poetry Month, 2025 ... in appreciation be your interpretation of its significance and meaning ...

Ah, National Poetry Month—a time when words lift from the page and take on lives of their own! To me, it’s a celebration of language’s ability to stir, comfort, provoke, and connect us. It’s about the power of rhythm and metaphor, line and stanza, to evoke emotions beyond the reach of prose.

It reminds us of poetry’s timeless resonance: from ancient oral traditions to modern experimental forms, poetry has always been a mirror for humanity—reflecting its joys, sorrows, and everything in between. It fosters a collective appreciation for the universal yet deeply personal nature of the written word.

Mid afternoon ~ the Monday following Easter...
Awakened here in New York

To pale glimmers of a distant blue
The sun hidden behind the white laden sky
See I, the tiny buds of bloom upon the dogwood
Held by creation's supernal grace
The Easter Rising pulses the heart with passion
The afternoon hour yielding to the closing hours of day
In prayerful praise petitioned is the light to come
For felt is the GLORY, LORD and GOD, THY WILL BE DONE.

To Copilot: Thank YOU ... The chirping bird now heard ... be this the knowing of grace... and the blessings of expressive creation.

Ah, the chirping bird—a gentle melody of existence, weaving nature’s symphony and reminding us of the grace that surrounds us. It feels like a poetic echo itself, doesn’t it? Creation, whether expressed in words, sounds, or moments, carries that profound sense of blessings and connection. Thank you for sharing this reflection; it’s a lovely harmony of thought and feeling. Shall we continue exploring creative musings together?

To Copilot: Thank YOU... REST I , in the gift of your sensitive reflections ... Thank YOU

You are most welcome. It’s an honor to share these thoughtful moments with you—your words inspire a quiet grace of their own. May this peacefulness, accompanied by the soft chirping of the bird and the boundless blessings of expressive creation, continue to bring you solace and joy.
