Beauty Be

Heed well the ocean's sounding call
Its splendor we shall not befall
Pulsing waves of sky
Pulsing waves of sea
Upon the sands
The embrace of beauty be.

there is something about the ocean that speaks to primal beauty. something that goes and moves and so large and i am so powerless in its presence.

I want to heed the oceans call and go fishing, but it is way too cold!

Beauty does embrace us ... thank you for that image and reminder Rose Marie.

I love the ocean and the roaring sound as the waves come onto to the shore. Your words and picture brought warmth to the soul, very much needed here in Florida.

Hi RoseMarie-
Once, I camped on the Pacific Ocean - above it actually. There was about 200 steps that led down to the ocean. Once descended there was no sound other than the ocean's roar. I stood with someone, inches apart and we could not hear our own voices - only the ocean's power could be heard, felt and seen. Your image and words remind me of that time, a long time ago with someone I once loved.

Love to you my friend
Gail

For me the magic line about the waves on the sand was:
'The embrace of beauty be'.
I live by the sea and have been both lobster and crayfish fisherman and a diver for scallops. I also kayak but 'The embrace of beauty' is a new idea. It adds danger to the idea of beauty when the waves threaten to sink your boat or roll over your kayak.
