The shedding of shackles and confine
This quest of spirit and mind
The moment of birthing freedom sought
Beyond the illusion suppression has taught
The reach to the God within
To vanquish each false sin
With brush and paint I to proclaim
This Moment of Freedom in Truth's name
Peaks and flames of passion and desire
The light and glory of Spirit's known fire.

It is my pleasure JOV, thank you for your visits. I too, appreciate your posts.
I respond well to the poem, but even more so to the art work.
Thank you Dave. Appreciating your context, I am most pleased by your comment.

I'm with Dave on this one - beautiful painting that is reflected well in the words.
Karen, Thanks much... this painting expresses a most telling moment for me.
This poem rings a bell in me... I'm waiting for a moment of freedom which can't seem to come soon enough!
I look forward to reading what inspiration brings you from the oceans!
cheers!
this poem is like something I'm waiting for-I've still got shackles and I'm not free of them yet,but I hope it will be soon. This poem gives me a sense of what I'm looking for...it's kinda hard for me to explain what I felt what I read this poem..:)
Stunning in both words and paint, my god!
SnowAngelJin - each of us has to work through the constraints that have been imposed or have grown out of our experiences - this is the work of life. With confront and resolve those shackled are loosened and ultimately freed.
Catherine, I feel your compliment. Thank you!
