Dragonfly...

A Request ~ A Fulfillment ...

I presented a request to Andrew Weitzer, confident of its fulfillment. He is a Nature Photographer Extraordinaire. One can only marvel at his level of mastery. Andrew captures, the essence, the strength. the power, the beauty, the uniqueness, of his subjects, such that they become alive as we view them in their natural abodes.

These supernal photographs of Dragonflies gifted to me from one who was my 5th Grade Student, Class of 1963, Public School 106, Bronx, New York.

YES, with JOY received.

Love it is,

Rose Marie Raccioppi

Dragonfly

Dragonfly upon your wings I yet fly

Taken to frog ponds, to vistas on high

Your mystery, abiding wonder, and grace

Withn the joy of heart found is your place

From time beyond my grasp, your presence known

The majesty of creation your embodiment shown

Many a wisdom tale to be heard

Echoes, Echoes, of the Creator's WORD.

BE I of G R A C E. ~ Thunderous Sounding

BE I of G R A C E...

                                                GOD

                                                Revelation

                                                Ascension

                                                Creation

                                                Exchange

... gifted by endowments of my CREATOR...

and so at 85 years of age I yet proclaim...

Thunderous Sounding

what be this awakening sweet

where grace and intention meet

what be this thunderous sounding in heart

where all that is has its knowing start

what be this soaring of spirit and soul

where vision is one with heart and goal

this be the Self, the TRUTH to embrace

where all that is blessed in knowing I place

where judgment, reprisal, illusion and demise

be cast aside by Spirit, an awareness wise

beyond the drama and lies yet heard

is the beloved glory of the divine WORD

joyful gratitude to fill my days

so be the embodiment of SELF, of GOD, in PRAISE.

And known be our work as ONE

The art of ALL be a treasured prize

Beauty, strength and grace, a body to behold

Health, prosperity, and blessings BE the story told

September 11, 2023 ~ We Pause in Remembrance

 September 11, 2023

We Pause in Remembrance

We,  in Remembrance pause, we gather as community, as family, as friends, of those who were victims of a merciless attack, to offer solace, a knowing that calls to heart,  and to honor the heroes, the first responders of the day, and each day since, who have suffered the pain, and loss of life from the devastating effects of toxins upon lungs, heart and BEING.

Tears, heartache, shock, beyond all conceal

For the pain, the horrors, remain yet real
Time alone does not ease the grief, the pain
For the inward scars of loss long long remain.

Tales of responders, heroic be each deed

Humanity and care, held as a living creed.

In loving respect, in a faith the soulful heart does bear

And so skyward be our eyes to the embrace of heavenly care

The touch of GOD ever real

Supernal be the blessings of All we to feel

In this moment as Below as Above

Beheld we be by the embrace of Love

Our loved ones lost, be yet their dreams held true

Their legacy granted onto a me, onto a you

Let us this day imagine the dreams once real

That in our hearts we shan't conceal

What vision, what promises made, hankered in their soul

Let us in loving PRAISE honor their envisioned goal

And in praise, hear we the sounding call of each name

The dreams, the visions held, let us proclaim

In our hearts grant each their completed goals

PEACE onto our pulsing hearts and departed souls.

PEACE onto our pulsing hearts and departed souls.

A Month New ~ September 1, 2023

The Call of This Day

what moves us but sensibilities and passion aflame

creation, concepts, art and BEING with heartfelt claim

brilliant be the colors of the sun to rise the sun to set

to mark the vision, the glory, beyond all regret

anew each breath within blessings divine

to mark our BEING this gift of time

a task, a deed, a celebration sweet

where vigor and joy so lovingly meet

beyond perceptions there BE a knowing real

from where LOVE and PRAISE have no conceal

dwell we may in a beckoning restless heart

from which deep understanding bears its start

blessings of GOD be the call of this day

'tis the message, the message of soul to convey.
