The Counsel of TIME

I AM this moment PAST
I AM this moment NOW
I AM all TIME
For what ever was IS
Embrace I the pain, the pleasure
Appreciate I the awareness, the aspiration
Feel I the soaring, the silence sweet
Live I its trials, its TRUTH, its treasure of BEING
I AM this moment PAST
I AM this moment NOW
I AM all TIME...

Reverie

reverie, I within its grasp
and present becomes moments of moons gone
reverie, I within its grasp
and present becomes the lover once known
reverie, I within its grasp
and present becomes the pain once lived
reverie, I within its grasp
and present becomes the vision yet held
reverie, I within its grasp
and present becomes the light anew
the light anew
anew.

Silent Night Rhythm

Loss and the beauty of what was
The winds carry the haunting call of past and present
The heart beats the memory, the lament
The soul knows it is the dark and the light
The morning and the noonday gone to the journey of night
The journey of night ever in pursuit of the awakening dawn
To this our life and love belong.

Our Will As ONE

Looking back to days now gone, now past
Looking to the future, days new, days vast
This NOW, what we perceive it to be
A choice ever held by a you, by a me
Many a decision, ours to reach, to make
From the threads of thought and vision we partake
A mind with purity of purpose, intent and direction
Is itself life's questing perfection
Shaper we are of each yesterday and a tomorrow to come
We with the MAKER, our will as ONE.

In Roman mythology, Janus (or Ianus; "archway") was the god of gates, doors, doorways, beginnings and endings.
His most prominent remnant in modern culture is his namesake, the month of January, which begins the new year.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
~Robert Frost~

This Moment Now Past

This moment present its gift to receive
Borne by what you choose to perceive

Harken well this moment now past
Within a memory held, a memory cast

And upon its thought and vision held clear
The moment once gone is again once near.
