A calling... a response anew ~ WISDOM OF ALL

“I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled poets to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean.”
~ Socrates

Indeed so…

I, a POET, moved I BE by Passion, Omnipresence, Exchange, Truth... as it calls and calls for expression... know not I its intended revelations, except by reflection and the beckoning of its cadence call .

When in the midst of concerns regarding the education of our children, words emergent, called to my heart... and little did I know in the embrace of these emergent words that they would be an ongoing counsel for my role as an activist. This in 1988... and in 2021, was awarded by the New York State Assembly, " A Woman of Distinction" designation for leadership in educational reform, community outreach on behalf of those deemed dyslexic, and for serving as the designated Poet Laureate, by Proclamation, of Orangetown, New York, 2021 marking a 10th Year Anniversary.

And so here these words shared anew…

Wisdom of All

Oh how the mind conceives the thought
With restlessness your heart is wrought
For there is a just and kingly goal
Distant yet touching your crying soul
Be burdened not by task and deed
Lest you be lost to the greater creed
Inspired by self and the knowing within
Shall you pass the haunt, the doom of the din
Listen dear child to thy self sovereign and wise
Heed not to temptation, deception and lies
For it is the tear of joy that you shall weep
When the Promise you vow, you do keep
And when you reach and court the dream
With God's love stand thou supreme
Deception takes not your abiding soul
You have reached a kingly goal
As many may doubt and may berate
You shall prevail for love is thy fate
Guide the children, know their call
With God's tender love and wisdom of all.

The words, "Wisdom of All," are of GUIDANCE, received in 1988 as I was preparing for the 'defense' of a teen who was not understood for his particular learning style and expressed artistry. It was indeed validating and assuring. It was a poem that was immediately held in memory and able to be recited without any further practice. It became the response of what IS ~ Inspired Spirit

And so I LISTEN and ALL BE Heard... be this the deliverance of:
Love ~ I AM ~ Spirit ~ Truth ~ Exchange ~ Nourishment,
onto self, onto others.

With blessings,

Assigned to Saint Uriel

Mosaic of St. Uriel by James Powell and Sons, at St John’s Church, Boreham, Wiltshire. 1886.

I have been assigned to Saint Uriel ... indeed an accord. Archangel Uriel is known as the angel of wisdom. He shines the light of God’s truth into the darkness of confusion. Uriel means “God is my light” or "fire of God."

The faithful turn to Uriel for help seeking God’s will before making decisions, learning new information, solving problems and resolving conflicts. They also turn to him for help letting go of destructive emotions such as anxiety and anger, which can prevent believers from discerning wisdom or recognizing dangerous situations.

In art, Uriel is often depicted carrying either a book or a scroll, both of which represent wisdom. Another symbol connected with Uriel is an open hand holding a flame or the sun, which represents God’s truth. Like his fellow archangels, Uriel has an angelic energy color, in this case, red, which represents him and the work he performs. Some sources also attribute the color yellow or gold to Uriel.
Echoes...We need listen... deeply listen... Wisdom of All be known...

Poem in Your Pocket Day - April 26, 2012

Wisdom of All

For those who may be interested in my work with all learners across the age span, I have provided a link at the close of the posted poem. The second posted link, is to a "Commentary" that you may find of particular interest. Our children deserve all the understanding and support we can provide. Yes, we adults are to be guided as well. As a student of life, each child brought before me is another opportunity to learn, to guide and to be guided. To educate is to bring forward. May a shared vision bring us to the APOGEE of our potential, our understanding and our knowing support of all children.

Celestial Sea

thoughts that probe the depths of existence
waves that crest the longings of the heart
streams that flow with the knowing grace of the soul
perceptions from time eternal
this inner call that echoes from the core of self
ever present passion, quest, a life purpose defined
listen, heed the resounding celestial sea within
the vista of mind, the passions of heart
the soul in its eternal present
echo echo echo be the refrain
"Guide the children, know their call
With God's tender love and wisdom of all. *"
