Alchemy to ring ...

Man in freedom so born is he
Yet shackled he sets himself to be
Oppression dark upon heart yet be lain
The echoes of emotion still held profane
The mind to silence daunting echoes of time past
And free the self from binding chains cast
Memory called to free mind, heart and soul
Alchemy to ring its welcomed toll.

Image: The Rebis (from the latin res bina, meaning double matter) is the end product of the alchemical "great work." After one has gone through putrefaction and purification, separating opposing qualities, those qualities are united once more in what is sometimes described as the divine hermaphrodite, a reconciliation of spirit and matter, a being of both male and female qualities as indicated by the two heads within a single body.

Fires of SOUL

Fires of SOUL

Awakened to the fires of SOUL
The vision, the quest, the fulfilled goal
The passion of SELF in this moment NOW
The unfolding, the expressive vow
Within this pulsing heart of mine
Feel I the blessed, the supernal divine
A life onto me in union conceived
In each breath of BEING a gift perceived
And so this the eternal moment real
The splendor of SELF ne'er conceal
And I in grace and gratitude sublime
Savor spirit, this SOUL mine.

A WEB to Spin…

A WEB to Spin…

From deep hurt and loss a web to spin
In threads of anguish caught her heart within
Soulful reflection and resolve to proclaim
In forgiveness and faith to call God’s name
To feel the knowing, the purpose, the plan
Ever God’s gift to life, woman and man
Free be her heart and lamenting soul
In glory she to live life’s goal
Entanglements need not confining be
She to hold to life’s decree
The beauty of a spider’s web be it known
For the intent fulfilled and the artistry shown
So too, within our hearts threads of time, people and grace
And within a web we may so place
Yet each thread is created anew to interweave
So too, with each thought we bear to conceive
Within these threads of creation and time
Behold the magic, the mystery, the wondrous divine.

I the Fire, I the Rose

I the Fire, I the Rose

the fire, the petals, the passions of creation
the light of the PRESENCE
brilliant be the towering flames
horrifying be its consuming fury
the rose, the gentle warmth of the glowing fire
the rose, the wrath of its piercing thorn
know I each as one and one as each
I the rose, I the fire
the passion, the pain, the PRAISE.

"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
Through the unknown, unremembered gate
When the last of earth left to discover
Is that which was the beginning;
At the source of the longest river
The voice of the hidden waterfall
And the children in the apple-tree
Not known, because not looked for
But heard, half-heard, in the stillness
Between two waves of the sea.
Quick now, here, now, always—
A condition of complete simplicity
(Costing not less than everything)
And all shall be well and
All manner of thing shall be well
When the tongues of flames are in-folded
Into the crowned knot of fire
And the fire and the rose are one "

Remembrance 9/11 ~ 2024

September 11, 2024
We are indeed besieged with unprecedented challenges,
We yet ask, "Where "Does the Pain Go.
We are called upon
To hold to our heartfelt devotions
To our faith, to our power..
We,  in Remembrance pause, we gather as community,
as family, as friends, of those who were
victims of a merciless attack,
to offer solace,
a knowing that calls to heart,
to honor the heroes,
the first responders of the day,
and each day since,
who have suffered the pain, and loss of life
from the devastating effects of toxins upon lungs, heart and BEING.

We Pause in Remembrance

Tears, heartache, shock, beyond all conceal

For the pain, the horrors, remain yet real
Time alone does not ease the grief, the pain
For the inward scars of loss long long remain.

Tales of responders, heroic be each deed

Humanity and care, held as a living creed.

In loving respect, in a faith the soulful heart does bear

And so skyward be our eyes to the embrace of heavenly care

The touch of GOD ever real

Supernal be the blessings of All we to feel

In this moment as Below as Above

Beheld we be by the embrace of Love

Our loved ones lost, be yet their dreams held true

Their legacy granted onto a me, onto a you

Let us this day imagine the dreams once real

That in our hearts we shan't conceal

What vision, what promises made, hankered in their soul

Let us in loving PRAISE honor their envisioned goal

And in praise, hear we the sounding call of each name

The dreams, the visions held, let us proclaim

In our hearts grant each their completed goals

PEACE onto our pulsing hearts and departed souls.

PEACE onto our pulsing hearts and departed souls.
