B E Y O N D ...

BEYOND
ridden with darkness and the wake of pain
the clutches of shadows and the inane
'tis not life that looms, bows and seeks to hide
but the illusions and hurts held deep inside
beyond all hurt, doubt and unabated fear
ever the hand of grace reaching near
beyond devastation and the din of despair
lies the answered call of light and faith's care
hold to a vision noble with unrelenting love
look to the vistas of beauty within and above
the call to truth, love, beauty and grace
be they within the chambers of heart to place
within the darkness be there light perceived
the fires, the grace of BEING, in blessings conceived.

The Gamma Cygni Nebula Credit & Copyright: Min Xie, Chen Wu, Yizhou Zhang, and Benchu Tang,

Demons and daunting echoes, masks and veils of illusion and lies... You are NOT the totality of other's opinions, other's perceptions. other's limitations, YOU ARE PURE POTENTIAL.

How that POTENTIAL is embraced, denied, supported, destroyed, understood, rejected, will define your days. Be they lived in FEAR, frustration, envy, anger, resentment, or be they lived in FAITH, freedom, aspiration, inspiration, truth, harmony... a choice ever prevails.

These words call upon us: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
(2 Timothy 1:7, NLT)

Copilot Review:

The poetic dialogue and the image of the Gamma Cygni Nebula together convey a powerful message of transcendence, hope, and inner strength. The poem speaks to the internal struggles and pains that one may experience, symbolized by “darkness” and “shadows,” suggesting that these are not inherent to life itself but rather illusions or internalized hurts. It emphasizes that beyond this pain and fear, there is grace, light, faith, and beauty waiting to be acknowledged and embraced.

The image of the Gamma Cygni Nebula, with its bright stars illuminating the interstellar dust and gas, visually represents these themes. It shows light emerging from darkness, beauty arising from chaos, and the potential for new creation amidst devastation. This celestial scene mirrors the poem’s message of finding light and grace within oneself despite external negativity or limitations.

The additional text reinforces the idea that one’s potential is not defined by others’ opinions or perceptions but by how one chooses to embrace or reject it. It encourages living in faith, freedom, aspiration, inspiration, truth, and harmony rather than fear, frustration, envy, anger, or resentment.

Overall, the combination of the poem and the image inspires a vision of noble love, inner beauty, and the transformative power of grace and light.

Prelude, Chorale and Fugue, Cesar Franck ~ Frames of Mind OPUS 5

...the sounding, the music, the listening, the painting. the expressive passions, musician, artist... heart and hand in commune...

Prelude, Chorale and Fugue, Cesar Franck

Frames of Mind OPUS 5
The mounting quest and fervor real
This heart knows not to conceal
Open to feel, long and mark desire
Pleading passion, flame and fire
Quiet the repose and soft the slumber
Nothing shall restrain or encumber
I willing to heed passion's plea
In all sensibilities I not flee
Each shade, hue, timbre and tone
I in your Presence, One and alone
Rippling waves of time and place
Know I the rapture of God's grace.

The poet’s connection to God’s grace is also evident, emphasizing a spiritual dimension.
Now, let’s delve into the watercolor painting “Frames of Mind Opus 5.” Created by Rose Marie Raccioppi, this conceptual artwork invites viewers to explore the interplay of colors, shapes, and emotions. The grid of squares and rectangles, each filled with different hues and brushstrokes, suggests movement and intensity.
The abstract nature of the painting allows for personal interpretation, much like the music and poetry. It’s a visual representation of the themes expressed in the poem—a celebration of artistic expression and the human experience.

JUNE, the month I was conceived...

JUNE, the month I was conceived... my pulse calling to the cadence of my heart and the blessings of a voice heard...
4 Words... foundational they BE... Structural they BE...Birth Eternal onto Self they BE...
                                Balance
                                        Harmony
                                                Beauty
                                                        TRUTH
BE ~ Birth Eternal in intention, in fruition, in PRAISE of GOD and SELF...
PRESENCE conceived
Looking through the open window
next to my desk
to the outside bloom of the dogwood
in leaves of brilliant green
to the bamboo, and towering trees
glistening in the sun light
that holds to their presence
a stillness
a quietude
a calm
a welcomed pause
sweet be such peace
in blessings BE
the PRESENCE conceived
the PRESENCE conceived.

The poem you've shared is beautifully contemplative, and it seems to celebrate the interconnectedness of life, nature, and self. Let's explore its meaning and significance:

1. **June and Conception**:
- The poem begins with a personal connection—the month of June, when the poet was conceived. This intimate tie to a specific time of year sets the stage for deeper reflections.
- The heartbeat ("my pulse calling to the cadence of my heart") and the blessings of a voice heard evoke a sense of life's beginnings and the wonder of existence.

2. **Four Foundational Words**:
- The poem introduces four powerful words: Balance, Harmony, Beauty, and Truth. These words are described as foundational and structural, suggesting their importance in shaping our lives.
- Each word carries weight and significance. Let's explore them:
- **Balance**: The equilibrium between opposing forces—physical, emotional, and spiritual. It implies stability and moderation.
- **Harmony**: The blending of different elements into a pleasing whole. It speaks to unity, cooperation, and peace.
- **Beauty**: Aesthetic delight that transcends the ordinary. Beauty can be found in nature, art, and even within ourselves.
- **Truth**: The bedrock of understanding. Truth is both objective and subjective—a compass guiding our choices.

3. **Birth Eternal**:
- The phrase "BE ~ Birth Eternal" suggests that these foundational words are not fleeting but eternal. They exist beyond mere moments—they are part of our essence.
- The intention, fruition, and praise of God and self underscore the idea that these words are both divine and personal.

4. **Presence Conceived**:
- The second part of the poem shifts focus to the present moment. The poet looks out of an open window, observing nature.
- The dogwood blooms, bamboo, and towering trees represent life in various forms. Their presence is palpable—the stillness, quietude, and calmness create a welcomed pause.
- The sun's light glistening on the leaves emphasizes the beauty and vitality of existence.
- The phrase "the PRESENCE conceived" suggests that this moment is not accidental; it is purposeful and sacred.

5. **Peace and Blessings**:
- The final lines evoke a sense of peace. The poet wishes for "sweet be such peace" amid the blessings of existence.
- The capitalization of "BE" reinforces the eternal nature of these blessings.
- The repetition of "the PRESENCE conceived" emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things—the divine, nature, and self.

6. **Authorship**:
- The poem is attributed to Rose Marie Raccioppi, the Poet Laureate of Orangetown, New York. As a laureate, her words carry authority and depth.

In summary, this poem invites us to recognize the eternal significance of foundational words, appreciate the present moment, and find peace in the blessings of existence. It beautifully weaves personal experience, nature, and spirituality into a tapestry of reflection.
