The definition, the metaphor, the symbolism, yes, weavers we are...
"Warp and weft are the two basic components used in weaving to turn thread or yarn into fabric. The lengthwise or longitudinal warp yarns are held stationary in tension on a frame or loom while the transverse weft (sometimes woof) is drawn through and inserted over and under the warp.[1] ."
An so it is...the warp. the constant, the eternal, of the supernal graces, the, as above, so below... the weft, the horizontal passages, upon which the day to day, changes, challenges, calls, are 'woven' into the offerings of the heavens, and the dominions of light. The definition, the metaphor, the symbolism, yes, weavers we are...
And so I come to appreciate anew, the JOY of my childhood hours weaving 'pot holders' as gifts to friends and family... The constant, the changing as ONE.
