Petals enfolding the caress of light
Wings of violet brushed with white
Savor I such flowering rapture this day
The Iris, Spring's bloom in majestic array.

I always think of Mom when I see iris...she had a border with all different colors and sizes...which I got to help weed when I was young. years and years later when Mom had been gone a few years and the iris bed had grown up into a weedy mess I could still pick iris to take home for Don to enjoy from his hospital bed!
Theanne, There is a special elegance and beauty that impresses the heart... Much love ...
