this golden call of Spring in silence heard
the resounding bloom be the Creator's Word
delicate petals of color bright and ever so bold
this the Word of Spring now and yet to be told
daffodils at my door in silent whispers of Praise
for the alchemy of light of early Spring days.

there is something about the intense yellow of daffodils...that they come, sometimes, even when the snow is on the ground...a splash of happy springtime on the white!
Theanne, They may well be considered the first 'bright sunshine smiles' of Spring... Yes, they bring a message of delight.
