wondrous light up on high
the sun in flight across the sky
wondrous orb to wax and wane
the beauty of night claims your name
the sun the moon such gifts of grace
your light and love in heart I place
and if a moment in darkness or despair

I thought of this: "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)
