Join a daily celebration of poetry and the arts. This blog gives voice to the academics, the arts, creativity, expression and the pursuit of TRUTH. All art forms, all academic interests are timeless reflections and revelations of the human condition. Passion, poetry and the arts fuel the creative fires that move me to expression and deep gratitude. My published book of poems, THE WIND AND THE WILLOW is available at Barnes and Noble and online booksellers nationally and internationally.

Hi RoseMarie
There is a pond right out front of our home and it is fed clean water by a running brook.Just beyond there are two more ponds. I sit by the one out front in all seasons. In summer it covers over with a thick green coat - some think it is unsightly. I know better for the frogs and snakes and other pond life live just beneath the green and feed off of its bounty. Also, the green coating cools the water. The bull frogs bellow all night - I love the sound. The heron perch and the geese raise their babies, the sunny fish swim freely and the snakes, and beaver and natural inhabitants are quite at home.
So am I.
Love to you
Gail
peace.....
Gear Gail,
So much as ONE do we enjoy... the feel, the sounds, the delight of life and water's abundance.
Blessings to you and yours.
Much love,
Rose Marie
