power off - no electricity
the quietude barren of machines
motors, TV, radio, telephone, computer
the hush of electrical toil and task
in this silence what do I hear
the ambient sounds that echo all that is
the gentle call of the wind
the wind chime melody
the songbird song
the pulsing flow of all
the sounding feel of a breath known
a breath known
a breath known.

ROSEMARIE-
oh yes, the stillness of natural sound - it is deafening in its quiet - the sounds of silence are in perfect harmony with our spirit and souls - it is in silence that we can finally hear, know, breathe the truth.
Love Gail

Gail, and within you be known the ever present sounding beauty you so lovingly share.
In friendship,

Sometimes when the electricity went off years ago I'd be happy for the quiet...to listen to the sounds of nature...to the real sounds of life.
Theanne, With a power failure that lasted two days, I too, enjoyed the quiet of the house. Without the sound of the refrigerator, the kitchen was newly presented. Ambient sounds were so deeply enjoyed.
