The poet the painter
Word by word
Line by line
Brush stroke by brush stroke
Creation's call to be heard
Silent it may be
This echo within heart
Yet a resounding command
From which pen and brush has its start
Symbols and strokes
Markings of PRESENCE
Passion, quest and desire
Color, form, word, line
This soul, this longing
This flame, this fire.

When one is open to live the glory that one has been blessed with, freedom and gratitude become ever so real. The painting, "Moment of Freedom," was such a moment ~ all passion, real, alive, present, a totality of freedom to BE. There are times when this joy is indeed the rapture, the ecstasy, the PRESENCE, the rhapsodies within to be heard.
Hi ROseMarie
oh when darkness and light consume one another, when pain and relief are absorbed - when wounds and healing clash - when love and betrayal are held up against the light, when hope and despair join, when faith is tested, when beginnings and endings are muddled, the sound roars on and then softens, roars and softens - in harmony and then not, in harmony and then not - as the colors all become one.
Love to you
Gail

I see it all.. the colour of your words & the meaning of those shades! I'm Glad that you are a worshipper of both.
