Upon The Canvas Before Me

sumptuous is the feel of champagne silk
folds of alluring opulence touch my skin
shadows fashion seductive hues
succumb I to its beguiling folds
within its light and tone I surrender
strokes of color hold to the touch known
this upon the canvas before me.
