Majestic Array

Petals enfolding the caress of light
Wings of violet brushed with white
Savor I such flowering rapture this day
The Iris, Spring's bloom in majestic array.

Beautiful verse for a beautiful flower. You know, the old folks here call them "flags", but to me that does them an injustice. I think they are indeed majestic.

Irises are lovely & in bloom right now-- a beautiful way to capture them; I like the "Wings of violet brushed with white."
