There is a pond right out front of ou...Hi RoseMarie<br />There is a pond right out front of our home and it is fed clean water by a running brook.Just beyond there are two more ponds. I sit by the one out front in all seasons. In summer it covers over with a thick green coat - some think it is unsightly. I know better for the frogs and snakes and other pond life live just beneath the green and feed off of its bounty. Also, the green coating cools the water. The bull frogs bellow all night - I love the sound.
