Awakened to the Rising Sun

The gift of this hour...

Awakened to the rising sun

To the song bird song
To the whispers of the wind
To the flutter of leaves in flight
To the rain in libation’s grace
As I listen yet another part of me hears
As I look yet another part of me sees
As I breathe the whole of me is known.

To Its Vow...

The sky lambent and brilliant with light... Shimmering be the leaves taken by the wind in flight...
A moment, a pause,
B L E S S I N G...

     Beauty
          Love
               Eternity
                     Spirit
                          Splendor
                               I AM
                                    Nurturing
                                         Grace ....

                                             the PRESENCE of NOW...
                                                the season of Fall
                                                   holding to its vow...

This Gift of Time...

Creation's gems of red and gold
Treasures of the season with a story told
Surrender they do to the winds that call
Leaves in a crescendo anew, 'tis Fall
Hold they to the sun's light and grace
Soon a blanket upon ground they place
Below my feet sweet rustle be heard
Feel I, the blessings of God's WORD
For change and light be this gift of time
This season yours, this season mine.

Golden Bounty

The sun held in golden hues of light
Alchemic beauty, harvest, bloom, leaves in flight
Textures, forms, the Creator’s grace
The wondrous of all in Autumn’s embrace
To Old Hook Farm, pure savor found ever anew
'Tis this golden bounty, bounty gifted onto you

Autumn’s Array

Autumn’s Array

Red ruby gems in Autumn’s array
Leaves in splendor of color this very day
The jewels of season’s grace fall from the tree
Carried by the wind upon walk settled they be.

She to SELF...Wild Winds of Spirit

She to SELF...Wild Winds of Spirit
Wild winds of spirit
Passions unleashed
She soars to vistas unknown
Lucid dreams of distant galaxies
Worlds in rhythmic motion
Sounds silent, sweet, thunderous
Pulsing, pulsing, pulsing
Within her a vibrant chord
She beckons, she calls deliverance
She to SELF…she to SELF
FREE …FREE… FREE
Wild winds of spirit.

Efes Antik Kent Nike Heykeli
This relief marks the late Roman period, the 4th and 5th centuries BC. In the right hand is a palm, in the left hand is held a wreath from a bay leaf. The goddess represents speed and power; Nike has the ability to run and fly free. Nike is the embodiment of the concept of victory, the goddess of victory.
According to Hesiodos, she was born of Stylus, the daughter of Pallas and Okeanos. Nike is shown as a young girl with wings, flying feee and gliding from heaven. Nike is also one of the leading names of Athena, ammong the most depicted immortals in sculptures and paintings.
