So Much Ourselves

The MOON so much ourselves
Ever reflecting the light
Ever the changing waxing and waning
It calls to the waters and the tides of time
The MOON so much ourselves
Mysterious in its beauty
It holds to the Sun's embrace
It echoes the knowing grace of light
The MOON so much ourselves.

Poet Laureate
Orangetown, New York
