There are wings upon she soars...

There are wings upon she soars

the calling whispers of the wind
the sweet songbird song
the warmth of the sun
the brilliance of the stars
the waxing and waning of the moon
the ebb and flow of the tides

There are wings upon she soars

the lucid dreams that fill the night
the palette of color
the starkness of the calling canvas
the harmonies of the heart
the beckoning of the soul
the echo of the word

There are wings upon she soars

the grasping hand of a newborn
the knowing smile of a child
the warmth of a touch
the dream held real
the pulse that is
the pulse that is

There are wings upon she soars
There are wings upon she soars
There are wings upon she soars.

A Sunday Pause...

Ah... the Sounding Muse...
the pulsing rhythm of heart...
'tis music...

Yes...

'tis music
hear I the rhythmic grace
this driving pulsing splendor of sound
this orchestration of heart
from which love shan’t depart.

to be FREE...

To Be Free...

be bound not by the blame
be bound not by the pain

you are destined to be free

be bound not by judgments unfair
be bound not by hurtful absence of care

you are destined to be free

be bound not by lies and illusion
be bound not by the misguided conclusion

you are destined to be free

be bound not by what another may do or say
be bound not by cruel games some may play

you are destined to be free

free to live beauty, truth and a vision clear
free to live faith, and blessings dear

free to live your dreams conceived
free to be the glory perceived

free to live and know God’s embrace
free to hold this in heart’s place

free to live a destiny true
free to live the JOY that in TRUTH is You.

S U P E R M O O N

the air still and gently cool
seductive be this darkened vista

bewitching light of the moon

SUPERMOON ~ November, 2016...

Awakened by the brilliant light of the moon at 3:00 AM.. yet more to come...

Moon
brilliant be the full moon light

an indigo melody fills the night
the depths of darkness graced they be
by the light that calls to hearts and sea
tides and souls in cresting splendor
to this majesty of grace I surrender.

How fortuitous that this Earth is presently graced by the full moon at perigee.
Creation offering brilliance so that we take pause and behold the glory of The Way.
For whatever be the moods, the perceptions of humankind, the Light prevails.
…and touched we are by the grace of the Supermoon, November, 2016.

Crescendo
hear I the ambient harp song of the night
brilliant moon in its melody of light
indigo depths in light they be
onto cresting waves of ocean and sea
this wax and wane, the ebb and flow
a dance, a dance in the moon’s blazing glow
this moment a crescendo so sweetly heard
the luminous, the luminous, pulsing THE WORD.

The MOON...

wondrous light up on high
the moon in flight across the sky
brilliant orb to wax and wane
the beauty of night claims your name
the moon a gift of grace
your light and love in heart I place
and if a moment in darkness or despair
know I the Presence of light's embracing care
the light of stars, sun and moon upon my soul ever be
this be God's WORD decreed onto me.

...to see the marvelous...

"The invariable mark of wisdom is to
see the miraculous in the common."

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

the marvel of a golden leaf to fall
from that mighty tree bold and tall
the lilting melody of the song bird
within the love of heart be heard
these gifts of season and time
such be blessings of the divine
it is with grace and ardent PRAISE
that we endow our hallowed days.

The Fire The Rose

 The Fire The Rose

The fire of passion, bud, bloom and thorn they be
So too, the cresting ecstasy of ocean and sea
A rapture of being and enchantment divine
Upon this soul, ever yours, ever mine
What longing lore of love do your petals enfold
Your sweet seductive fragrance I to behold
Bloom in rapture and radiant red array
The kiss of waters upon your petals lay.

BE it the libation...

At this afternoon hour in Tappan, New York.....

The light prevails and the rain does come
Be it the libation, the ever present gift of BEING
Be these tears, these drops of rain, the gift of flow
Answering the quest, the thirst of faith and love
Fulfilling the cleansing, the nourishing, the very call
To BE… Birth Eternal in the waters of conception
In the waters of birth, in the streams of BEING.

Interlude... at my window...

Interlude…  2:55 PM ~ At My Window in Tappan, New York
Sweet rain sounding
Gem colored leaves in libation’s grace
Brilliant crimson dogwood at my window
Branch and bough holding to the light of the sun
This the season of fall fulfilling its vow
This the moment, this the moment, NOW...

And NOW at: 3:38 PM...
The bright sun and clear lambent sky
Glistens the rain touched gems of color
Leaves newly brilliant in the wake of light
Moment majestic in the wake of change
This the season of fall fulfilling its vow
This the moment, this the moment, NOW...

Dreams Enfold

sweet slumber dreams enfold
heart and soul to behold
within depths of dark newly conceived
to the dawning light I AM received

An October Moment

the gentle chill of early fall
the touch of orange and crimson
leaves rustle whispers to the soft wind
the yet green grass lush and sweetly fragrant
the bloom of flowers in gem tones
yellow sapphire, red garnet, orange carnelian
in the near distance sculptures of angels
herald they their song of praise
cascading vines embrace the weathered wood fence
waters sounding as they fall to the pond
to the delight of the swimming koi
a walk to the garden
holding to the magic of fairy tales and stories of wonder
an interlude as the sunset hour is soon to be
an October moment reminds us of the summer that was
and the fall in all its presence of glory
in all its presence of glory.

Alchemic Distillation...

A transformation is being called upon... and so in an alchemic distillation …
F E A R  be then the golden light of ...

                                         Faith
                                         Evolution
                                         Ascension
Revelation ... the glory of BEING...
                                                                                           in the awakening
                                                                                                 of unity and love.

The Wondrous

There is ever the wondrous in life
The ways of nature in expression
The gift of seed
The beauty of bloom
The blessings of bounty
Pay heed, pay heed, the breath
The receiving, the giving
This of Earth, this of Being.

Apollo with his Lyre

Held in the arms of spirit
Your lyre sounds in delight

The strings touched by a knowing hand
Grace, truth and beauty in loving command
The harmonies of heart to be heard
Concordant be they with sacred word
Strum the chords of the heavens above
Heed  the blessings of divinity’s love.

About the National Archaeological Museum in Naples

Situated in the center of Naples, in the 16th-century Palazzo degli Studi, the National Archaeological Museum holds one of the most important collections of classical antiquities, as well as the mosaics, frescoes, and statues discovered at Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Stabiae. The origins of the museum go back to 1777, when King Ferdinand IV conceived of a new institution for the arts in Naples and created the Real Museo Borbonico. The museum continued to grow through the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries with the incorporation of other collections, as well as finds from the numerous excavations at ancient sites throughout the region.
