Yellow and Green ~ Magical

magical is this flow of yellow and green
such be the wondrous glory of young Spring
the bright yellow of daffodils and forsythia
the breath of new green on the willow tree
patches of fresh grass in silent quivers
bulbs with peeking green folds of budding leaves
daylight that lingers longer than its yesterday
morning dew so gentle in its touch
cool temperatures linger yet
the noon day sun warm and welcomed
all has its seasonal plan its charter divine
magical is this flow of yellow and green.

ROSEMARIE-

like the coating on our pond that soon will be seen thick with green and yellow slime to cover the water-life beneath - a gift from nature to shield from the blazing sun and keep the waters cool - it looks almost poisonous but in fact it is life-giving. we are often fooled by nature's colors and one another too.
Love to you
Gail

Reminds me of a song of my youth, "Welcome, sweet springtime, we greet thee with song" by Anton G Rubinstein. Springtime, joyous celebration of new life, a time to sing!
