I just wrote a post and it began with pictures and feelings about the promise and hope of the 'first snow'. I so love the gray reflective quiet of Winter and the purity and new hope of snow - I find the two together are so life-giving. I come alive in Winter as I embrace the naked landscape and the beginning and ending of so much.
