Sunflower Gifted To Me

The sun and moon I do see
In this sunflower gifted to me
Stars and galaxies be they too shown
Within your petaled universe all is known
Bloom ablaze with shimmering light of gold
Within each seed the Creator's story told.

Yes, Brian, Nature does provide the best of gifts.

The sun and the flower meet for conversation. What did they discuss? It is a secret. Thank you Rose for the morning song.

Hi RoseMarie

The picture and your words are beautiful. The sunflower is my sister's son Clayton's favorite flower - he is her eldest son who died 7 years ago. The ache is still powerful. I give her sunflowers each year for his birthday, death day and on Mother's Day I give her three sunflowers, one for each of her three sons.
Thank you for this beautiful post.

Love Gail
