Light Behind The Storm

Light behind the storm
And hushed is heaven's outcry
To the wind and wave.

Clouds, thunderous within a celestial sea
Imbued I am with the beauty they gift to me
Summer winds and cresting waves of white
Darkness dispelled and known be the light.

Rose Marie, is that the same watercolor we were privileged to see the other day - now "photoshopped"? Amazing how it gives off a whole new mood as do the words juxtaposed with it. Lovely.

Good Morning Bonnie, Thank you for your morning visit. In answer, No, it is not the same, this is a completely different painting. I do keep the watercolors in their original presentation. You may wish to see again the one you were referencing it to, the likeness rests within the ascending movement.

Hi ROse Marie-

I love gray and black blends that stretch out to almost white. I feel the presence of an impending storm, all the excitement of the unknown of severity or passivity of force or submission. The words and painting are a calm explosion of promise and fear that insists that beyond the calm and beneath the surface the truth rages on and begs to be glorified.

Love to you
Gail

Rose Marie,
Such beautiful clouds. I feel them moving across the sky as the possible pending storm approaches on the summer afternoon.
