Libation

A gift of time measured
yet boundless
Promise and pain
within its presence
Joy and love
within its sharing
Life and purpose within its passing
Within this abnegation
lies the secret of grandeur
The giving over for the having
The offering for the receiving.

Hi Rose Marie-

Your words and images I experience as sensual and alluring. It is all so inviting, ominous yet sacred. The humanity and passion in this poem speaks to me of determination and faith along the journey of life in all its triumph and tragedy - it is an ebb and flow, a swoon and sway of emotion, purpose and give and take. Lovely.

Love to you
Gail

Margie, and I quote, "I find myself relating so much and think of you as a kindred spirit!" Your writing is expressive of so much I too, identify with and revere. Let your heart be ever heard - it is the voice of your divine longing and love.
