Each Bloom

Flowers in fields of green array
The warming touch of this summer day
God's gifts to be ever known
By the bounty of earth shown
In joyful reverence each bloom gifted new
God's love, praise and favor on to you.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

Lovely. Nature described at it's best. Flowers bring such beauty. Beauttiful picture.

Good morning ROse Marie-

I love the words and painting as they express 'gathering'. I love that word, "gathering" as it means there is a coming together and there is plenty of whatever is being gathered - flowers, love, strength, promise, hope, food, wine, laughter, music, and all of life's gifts - we gather here today to offer and receive. Life, God, is good.

Love to you

Hello Rose Marie! This is such an uplifting poem for a muggy humid rainy day! Thank you! You know, when I was in 10th grade, I used to write a lot of poetry and my literature teacher told me I had great potential and should keep working at it...but like all teenagers, it kind of got lost as I developped other interests...but lately I've been writing a little bit...not ready to make it public yet, but it's a nice way to spend an afternoon! :-)

We are bestowed with an abundance of gifts, we only need to remove the self imposed blindness to see how truly great we are. Wonderful poem!

Bonnie, Choices, Gail, Rain, Mark,

You have each gifted me with your visit and your sensitive appreciation of what I expressed in, "Each Bloom." As with most poetic encounters metaphor reigns, and so "each bloom" is every new moment, every new life, every new opportunity to BE. Thank you.
