Passion

Passion
the pulsing
adventure
of soul of spirit
inspired by
omnipresent need
Passion
the very flame
that lights
the creative longing
the quest for purpose
the reach for knowing
Passion
the wakeful night
that looks to the stars
the moon
the rising sun
the promise of the new day
Passion
the touch of the sublime
the silent yearning
the one known
the beauty perceived
the moment present
Passion
what I dream
what I vision
what I feel as ME
what I know as SELF
what it is to BE.

Simply Beautiful! Passion is the essence of life. Passion is within us. A Passion is in our hearts to do what we love and feel. I love this poem!

Hi Rose Marie:)

Lovely poem. Deeply thought out and beautifully presented. Very thought provoking.

After all what is a human being without passion. Passion in love, passion to excel, passion for power, passion to amass wealth, passion for travel, passion for writing, passion in photography, passion for antiques.

Passion permeates, engulfs and devours human beings.

I enjoyed this lovely poem which hit me like a sledge hammer and made me take stock of my own passions.

Have a wonderful day Rose:)

You do come across as a very passionate person. I love the softness that seems to go with this strength. Lovely.

This is outstanding in its depth of emotion and beautiful phrasing. I'm trying to find a favorite part, but the whole thing surges. These lines resonate:

"Passion
the very flame
that lights
the creative longing
the quest for purpose
the reach for knowing"

Kat, Prayer and passion, that resonates well.

Herrad, Pleased for your visit.

Choices, You too, are beautifully expressive of the passions you feel.

Gail, YES! YES!"Ahhhhhhhhh, passion."

Rain, And I am skipping along. Life with passion is FUN TIME!

Margie, We are what we allow ourselves to feel. Yours is a soaring spirit.

Joseph, I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your comments. Each comment provides an added richness to the poem posted. Your comments are most thoughtful and themselves poetic. Thank You.

Ashley, "I love the softness that seems to go with this strength." This was the motivation behind my image selection. The flower held the "softness," in its essence and form, and "strength,"in its quest for being, for blooming.

Karen, So much YOU - "...whole thing surges." This I know from all you so beautifully convey.
