Flowering Stars

Flowering stars and depths of gold
Within your petals a prayer to unfold
Your soft silken touch and gentle feel
Delicate splendor in this moment real
Hold I your quiet bearing in heart
From beauty's call I shan't depart.

The beauty of flowers-gentle, delicate and in the heart. Lovely.

Hi Rose Marie! Lovely poem..."From beauty's call I shan't depart."...that is how I feel every day when I'm looking at nature all around me. Sometimes when I'm walking the dogs and fighting off the deer flies and mosquitoes, there is a wee part of me that says "hmmm...none of these in the city...." But nature's beauty has called me and I'm in for the long run!

Kat, Your words to awaken the sublime within. Thank you.

Rain, "But nature's beauty has called me and I'm in for the long run!"

We are indeed listeners!
