Pygmalion and Galatea

Line, form, structure, color, their call I heed
The workings of the creator's creed
A hand imbued with the divine
Holding to created beauty sublime
Agonies and angels, vanity and endearing care
Shield and step ladder and an ascending stair
Symbols, artifacts, the manifest desire
Aspiration, purpose and passion afire
In resounding silence the resolve is heard
'Tis the glory of art and the creator's Word.
