Marks To Proclaim

And what is this need
To touch, to speak
To sing, to create
To read, to write
To make our mark
Symbols of the soul
These lines and forms
Upon surfaces vast
Movements of heart and hand
This embrace of spirit
In search
Marks to proclaim
The Presence.

Perfect picture of simplicity. a woman sitting in
a vast field reading, by herself with no distractions around. absolutely beautiful.

Your words teach the meaning of all we are led to create via the spirit's leading. To that the gifts God gave us were meant to be shared. I just realized by your poem that to write, to talk, to create something gives thanks to God the giver of all the talents we have. It gives Him the opportunity to speak through whatever it is we are willing to share. beautiful work.
