APOGEE Moon

I look to the sky this night
The gentle caress of day's end
Winter's apogee moon
A lullaby silent.

What a postive light to the night. Thank you for your perspective of the moonlit night. Besides the amazing picture, your words show forth peace and restful nights. I love the symbolism of the lullaby....

The photo was taken from my back yard. My son knew that I would respond to its beauty. The apogee moon is when the moon is at the furthest point from the earth. It is stated that the apogee moon is calming and so it was and hence the 'caress' and 'lullaby.' Thanks for your visit...

the sons of mothers are the brightest stars of the night. At least they are in my little realm.
Loved this!
